A shortage of 3c stamps in 1929 resulted in surplus stocks of the 6c value being overprinted.

All values have descriptions incorporated within the designs.

On the right stamp the 'T' of "THREE" is raised, and the entire word "THREE" is shifted to the left relative to the line "CENTS" below it.
