This record can be displayed from the Baptism record of a child within the family
or the Marriage record of the parents.

Family records do not occur within the parish registers. They are built as a means
to group people. Children are grouped with their parents to form a Family. The
Family record serves as a junction to navigate generations within a family,
travelling backward to parents' marriages and/or forward to childrens' baptisms.

Because the Family records are individually built, they are complete only as far
as could be determined from the individual Baptism and Marriage records.

[n-nnn-nn] The reference key of the record displayed.

mar n-nnn-nn The "marriage" line. Click on the red item to display the marriage
record for this family.

The rest of the marriage line contains the year of marriage, prefixed by "@" in the
case of a pseudo marriage, and the names of the parents. In the case of a pseudo
marriage, the names of the parents are obtained from the children(s) baptisms.

bap n-nnn-nn A "baptism" line. Click on the red item to display a baptism record
for a child in this family.

The rest of a baptism line contains the year of baptism, prefixed by "@" in the case
of a pseudo baptism, the name of the child, and the names of the parents as they
appear in the baptism record.

When an indented line appears below a baptism line, it indicates that the child
married the named person (more than one line indicates more than one marriage). The
marriage can be accessed through the child's baptism.
