Synopsis of information contained in this document:
Peter Barry of Red Island wrote his will, dated September 18, 1917.
To his second wife Elizabeth Barry [nee Cheeseman], he bequethed $200.
To his son Thomas Barry, he bequethed his house and store situated on the hill, half of his stage situated on the beach, the rest of his land situated on the hill and two gardens outside the beach, all his property, namely four cod nets, three herring nets and a dory, six sheep, and $500.
To his son Patrick Barry, he bequethed $400.
To his daughter Elizabeth Lamb, he bequethed $150.
To his grandson Peter Barry, he bequethed the other half of his stage situated on the beach, $50, and all other possessions not mentioned.
Peter Barry signed with his mark (an "x"), as did John Corrigan as a witness. Garrett Ryan was the other witness.
